I am a happy mother for three children, all of whom have been breastfeeding for one year – but they are big now. I have always taught my kids that you not do anything for others to “get something back” but to do it because you want it, and that’s still how I am thinking today.
I believe that nature is arranged in a way that everything you give, you will receive back in one way or another, so there is always some kind of balance in things. And with this said, there’s one day during the year when I’m getting totally childish and am thinking, “have they remembered that it’s Mother’s Day?” It has not happened yet and I have to admit that I always feel a little tiny bit offended and childish – which is of great amusement for the rest of the family.
So this year I have decided to buy a nice gift for myself, like a little clap onto my (own) shoulder – well done 😉
To all of you new mothers who may not even remember that there is something called Mother’s Day, because you are busy with breastfeeding, hair loss, laundry, cleaning and nappy changing: buy a small gift for yourself! And if it should happen to be in the “sign” of (nursing) clothes, here are some suggestions from Milker to you.
Wine red breastfeeding bra with dots and little lace
Blue breastfeeding bra in bamboo with snap closing
White nursing shirt with built-in bra in bamboo fibers
White nursing top with coral stripes and wide straps in organic cotton
Blue breastfeeding dress with tight skirt and loose top
Black lace dress with underdress
